The pride of the Bad Apple Racing team is the Jimco Class 1/1500 car. Powered by a Chevy V8, the car has proven to be a winner with brothers Steve and Chris Appleton. They won both the 2010 Baja 1000 and Baja 500 in Class 1--clocking an average speed of 51.7 mph in the 1000. 2011's already off to another strong start with the team placing first in the Parker 425 Class 1500 and 5th in the San Felipe 250.
